Pudina Pachadi / Pudina Chutney For Rice

Ingredients :
  1. Pudina - 1 bunch
  2. Oil - 5- tsp
  3. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Urd Dal - 3 tsp
  5. Asafoetida
  6. Red chillies (Byadige) - 7-10
Method :
  1. In a pan, heat 4-5 tsp oil , add mustard seeds , once it starts spluttering , add urd dal and fry it until it turns golden brown.
  2. Roast chilly with two drops of oil.
  3. Dry roast pudina / mint leaves.
  4. Grind pudina / mint leaves,fried mustard and urd dal with oil,roasted chillies and salt to taste into fine paste without adding water.
  5. This chutney tastes awesome with hot rice and ghee and it is good for digestion also.
