Pudina Pachadi / Pudina Chutney For Rice
Ingredients :
- Pudina - 1 bunch
- Oil - 5- tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Urd Dal - 3 tsp
- Asafoetida
- Red chillies (Byadige) - 7-10
- In a pan, heat 4-5 tsp oil , add mustard seeds , once it starts spluttering , add urd dal and fry it until it turns golden brown.
- Roast chilly with two drops of oil.
- Dry roast pudina / mint leaves.
- Grind pudina / mint leaves,fried mustard and urd dal with oil,roasted chillies and salt to taste into fine paste without adding water.
- This chutney tastes awesome with hot rice and ghee and it is good for digestion also.
